We’ve always had a crush on Azalea’s authentic indie-chic aesthetic: The boutique, located in the fashion-friendly Hayes Valley district, carries covetable and cute items—think: J. Brand and Madison Harding— is everything we love about San Fran’s cool and effortless vibe.
Which is why we were so excited to join them this past Saturday for a special Trunk Show event featuring the Charlotte Ronson spring/summer ’12 collection, and goodies from Sephora! The informal meet and greet was such a great event; Azalea has a fantastic staff—example: just look at how cute Dana and Brisa are!—with an eclectic eye for detail, and an innate sense of fashion that makes them all look as if they rolled out of bed looking perfect. In addition to the Azalea crew, Azalea’s customers are equally savvy, and it was great to spend the day with them, and get feedback from them as well.
Our love affair with Azalea doesn’t end here! Check back on Friday for a few items we couldn’t help but obsess over while we were in town, and see what other San Fran natives love about the neighborhood!
When we first unveiled the Charlotte Ronson Beauty for Sephora Collection, we did hear that a few of you were hankering for a lipstick set.. and we couldn’t yet tell you what we can tell you now: it’s coming! Enter the new Masquerade Collection Set —just in time for the holidays!
What it is: A set including an eye shadow palette, two trendsetting lipsticks, and a small pouch.
What it does: Charlotte’s All Eye Need Eyeshadows deliver rich, crease resistant, long-lasting color that’s easy to blend and build. Her Petite Kisses Lipsticks provide hydrating properties and feature LFT™ (Light Filter Technology) to automatically adjust their pigments based on your lighting. Keep these items in the snakeskin print clutch inspired by Charlotte’s runway collection.
This set contains:
- 4 x 0.08 oz All Eye Need Eyeshadow Quad in Pamela (matte black with silver sparkle, brown with iridescent sparkle, nude with gold sparkle, pearlized silver)
- 2 x 0.11 oz Petite Kisses Lipsticks in Fabiola (deep berry red, and Hedi, bright pinkish red)
- Small snakeskin print pouch (5.75 x 4″)
What else you need to know:
Charlotte’s friends inspired each product. “As a photographer, Pamela Hanson has a talent for looking at things in unique ways. Her look is equally inspiring, and this palette was created with her singular style and beauty in mind. Fabiola Beracasa is a fashion journalist, the Creative Director at The Hole, a downtown art gallery, and an animal activist. Bold but wearable, this is the perfect shade to take her from day to night. This bright red shade was inspired by my friend Hedi Gores—one of the founders of the LA’s Pressed Juicery. The vibrant color complemented her glowing skin tone and healthy, sunkissed look.” —Charlotte Ronson
