AriZona Beverages 20th Anniversary Flavor Tasting

Arizona Iced Tea is holding a nationwide taste contest in search of a new flavor to put out in honor of it’s 20th anniversary. There are 3 new flavors in which to choose from, based off of classic American desserts: Cherry Lime Rickey, Chocolate Fudge Float, and Orange Cream.

The one that intrigued me most was the Chocolate Fudge Float. I had never heard of a carbonated chocolate drink before and curiosity drove me to try this one fist. The drink was sweet and lightly carbonated and although this flavor piqued my interest initially, I was left unconvinced.

Next I tried the Orange Cream; I thought it would be a smooth transition from the Chocolate Fudge. The taste was light and creamy, which was surprising for a tea. It instantly reminded me of summer – eating orange creamsicles. A bit too sweet for everyday.

Last I tried the Cherry Lime Rickey. The flavor was a perfect blend of sweet and sour and the slight carbonation was really refreshing. Cherry Lime Rickey was easily my favorite.

I Wont Grow Up

My friend Kidada Jones designed this “Never Grow Up” doll for Disney! It’s a Vinylmation treat—a limited edition set Kidada designed featuring a 9” figure of Peter Pan (underneath a sundae) and a 3” figure of Tinker Bell stuck in a chocolate bar!

Charlotte’s Sketches: The Hunger Games Fire Dress

In anticipation of the upcoming release of  The Hunger Games this March InStyle asked Charlotte to imagine what the iconic “fire dress” the main character, Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence) would look like onscreen. This dress serves as one of the most important props in the book series’ pivotal scenes. Charlotte sketched this bold look, which included a spot for Everdeen‘s treasured bow and arrows, and wanted the cape to “appear like a fire running through the forest.” Check out to see more “Fire Dress” interpretations.

“I am dressed in what will either be the most sensational or the deadliest costume in the opening ceremonies. I’m in a simple black unitard that covers me from ankle to neck. Shiny leather boots lace up to my knees. But it’s the fluttering cape made of streams of orange, yellow, and red and the matching headpiece that define this costume. Cinna plans to light them on fire just before our chariot rolls into the streets.” —Katniss in The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
